These materials are generally sawn from oak varieties, pine varieties and the incredibly durable black locust.
Posts and beams are square and rectangular stocks and come in 6’, 8’,10’,12’,14’,16’, and 18’. Posts can be sawn anywhere from the log, and beams are core cut, centering the tree to the center of the beam. This process ensures the stability and structural strength of the individual piece.
Mantles can be custom sawn from any wood you desire, as so many are very suitable. Most are oak varieties for traditional athstetics, but many rare one-of-a-kind pieces can be made. We suggest, Apple, Walnut, Cherry, Beech, Hickory, and Pear,
For Trailer Decking and Sideboards, we offer clear and low grade structural oaks and locust. We can make large sideboards and have made 3” thick x 20” wide x18’ long and bigger!
If we do not have the logs for your order in stock we can find the correct standing trees, and perform a custom harvest according to a designed plan, made cater to your needs.
